Job Description\nMorrison Energy Services is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on a project based in Cowley, Oxfordshire.
\nThe project is working on a customer connection to the National Grid Electricity Transmission Transformer Tertiary System at the Cowley site.
\nAs a Project Manager your duties & responsibilities will include:
\n\n Leading the construction team in delivering the project, through the end-to-end process from project initiation to completion\n Strategic health, safety and environmental management and leadership to drive the highest standards \n Delivery of the project to the agreed time, cost and quality requirements\n Work closely with the planning team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and progress is monitored \n Drive the Project team ethos to ensure the delivery team function as a cohesive management team \n Drive risk management for the Project \n Provide leadership and guidance on technical and contractual matters to ensure timely resolution \n Support the preparation of monthly CVR in conjunction with the Commercial Manager\n Being commercially astute, lead the management team to deliver the balanced scorecard and meet/exceed contract financial terms and targets\n\nSkills & Knowledge Requirements:
\n\n Commercially minded with experience on NEC3/4 contracts \n Previous project management experience with National Grid projects\n Knowledge of the Electrical Transmission and Distribution industry is essential \n Able to demonstrate ownership of a portfolio of projects of varying values and complexities \n Effective communication skills\n Effective relationship management skills\n Appreciation and understanding of commercial management \n Flexible and adaptable\n Able to work autonomously and collaboratively\n Hold a relevant Project Management qualification or equivalent\n A full driving licence and willingness to travel frequently\n\nWhat's in it for you?
