Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
PURPOSE Due to business growth we are currently recruiting for an M&E Site Install Engineer who will work closely with our manufacturing teams with the successful delivery of our wide range of standard and bespoke manufactured package plant.
Whether you are mechanically or electrically biased or competent in both, we will consider all applications.
Training can be provided in your opposite field.
Will need to be willing to assist with both mechanical and electrical installations.
The Role Contracted to 40hrs per week, 8 hours on site Monday to Friday.
You will be paid both your over time and travel time to site (door to door) at your standard hourly rate.
Regular travel and lodging will be expected as part of this role.
You will be paid extra for the nights you are lodging.
Carry out package plant installation work, comprising of chemical dosing packages, pump skids access steelwork and more Ensure full compliance at all times with the Bridges Mechanical and Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
Completion of ITPs.
Responsibility for looking after allocated tools and equipment.
Requirements Required Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Electrician (essential) Relevant vocational qualification (or similar) (essential) CSCS & CCNSG (or similar) Experience within water / construction industry Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable) Ability to give and take instruction Full UK driving license Fit for work medical.
Desirable Thames Water Passport EUSR - water hygiene card.
