THE SEARCH: Altus Partners have partnered with a dynamic private equity-backed Business Services company to find an M&A Integration Manager to join this fast-paced Buy and Build journey.
As an M&A Integration Manager, this person will be responsible for leading the seamless integration of newly acquired companies into the organisations structure, systems, and processes.
This role requires a blend of strategic planning, project management expertise, and operational execution to ensure the successful merger post acquisition.
THE ROLE: Based in the London area, the successful candidate will report directly to the groups Director of M&A with secondary reporting to the COO.
The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leadership to develop & execute an integration roadmap whilst defining objectives, timelines, and key milestones that align with the business overall strategy.
Lead the end-to-end integration process from initial due diligence through full operational alignment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders in both the business and the acquired company, ensuring clear communication throughout the integration process.
Identify opportunities to standardise processes across newly acquired businesses and existing group entities, ensuring operational efficiency and consistency.
Coordinate cross-functional teams from IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments involved in the integration and projects.
Oversee group-level projects beyond acquisitions, such as fleet management, procurement strategies, or other cross-functional initiatives, ensuring efficient project delivery across departments.
Lead the change management efforts related to people, systems, and processes, ensuring that teams are supported and informed throughout the integration Ensure that the integration is aligned with the companys long-term goals and provides measurable business outcomes.
THE REQUIREMENTS 5 years of experience in consulting, project management, integration or a blend of these.
Prior M&A Integration experience is essential, ideally within a Private Equity environment.
Experience with Private Equity is desired Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
A project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
Proven ability to lead large-scale integration projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple, complex initiatives across different business functions.
Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across projects Ability to work independently while communicating and developing strong working relationship with the team.
Strong communication skills at every level to ensure successful stakeholder management.
High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity when integrating diverse teams.
Flexible working model, with 2/3 days on-site or in the office.
