Job DescriptionM&A Associate – Tech Team The Firm: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, global mid-market bank with an extensive track record in completing successful M&A transactions on behalf of its clients.
The team's senior bankers leverage comprehensive industry knowledge and relationships to maximise value for a wide range of global technology companies.
Key responsibilities: Support the execution of technology and software M&A mandates and the origination of new business development leads.
Other responsibilities in supporting the execution of active investment banking engagements will include:
Preparing, analysing and explaining companies historical and projected financial information and business plansCoordinating and performing business due diligencePreparing marketing materials e.g.
management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentationsValuing companies and businessesAssisting in the marketing and planning of M&A engagementsCoordinating and conducting business due diligenceSupervising and coaching junior staff members in the completion of presentations, research and financial analyses, ensuring their development according to team and firm standardsQualifications: Must have at least 4- 5 years of M&A deal execution experience from an Investment Bank, Boutique Advisory Firm or from Big 4 Corporate Finance/ M&A Team.Proven track record of M&A transaction experience with mid-market Technology companiesDemonstrable knowledge of M&A processesFinancial acumen and ability to value Technology companies based on their financial profile, strategic relevance, technology attractiveness and end market attractivenessAptitude for financial analysis, interpretation and presentation in marketing materialsAble to work in complex situations and deliver results.Problem solving aptitudeAble to manage multiple engagements and shifting prioritiesCreativity and ability to innovate / think out of the boxExcellent oral and written communication skills.
Can build rapport with clientsProactivity, energy and enthusiasm.
Able to make things happen, both internally and in transaction executions
