Job description: M1/M2 Qualified Traffic Management Operative – PlymouthOur client requires Traffic Management Operatives in the Plymouth area to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures and using a stop/go board and other Traffic Management roles.Successful candidates for the role of TM Operative should have:- Ability to work as part of a teamAbility to carry out work to a high standardGood communication skills Applicants must have: Lantra M1/2 and ideally an M5 (not essential)CSCS card (Preferred)Good timekeeping skillsWillingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hoursWillingness to carry out other tasks upon requestDriving License (Preferred) Hours of work:Monday – Friday , days or nights.Rate of Pay: £13 per hourOvertime at 150% after 40 hours Monday – Friday, nights and SaturdaysStandby payments for being on call Monday – Thursday or Friday – Sunday These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from: Accrued Holiday Pay from day onePension contributions (after a qualifying period)Weekly PayOvertime at overtime ratesNo umbrella payments or feesOnly Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip.
This will start as a temporary role, but will become permanent after 3 months.
