NHS GRAMPIANPORTER - Band 2Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Woodend Hospital, Royal Cornhill Hospital, all City and Shire SitesAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Porter to work based at our hospital site at ARI.
On occasion there may be a requirement to assist other hospital sites within the NHS Grampian region, so flexibility is required.
Hours of work are 37 hours working between Monday to Sunday on a rota.Duties and responsibilities may include:All Portering and driving tasks.Transferring of patients between various areas of the hospital Ensuring the safe movement of medical equipment Transporting clinical waste and dangerous materials Delivering patient notesMust have the ability to carry out all aspects of the role safelyGood oral and written communication skills are essential to the roleApplicants must hold a full clean manual driving licence.
Successful candidates will undergo a PVG check.
Full training will be provided.
