Academics are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) for a full-time role in a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Newport.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson and material preparation.
Assisting with basic literacy and numeracy tasks for small groups of students.
Providing 1:1 support for students who need extra assistance.

Weekly pay of between £415 and £450, depending on experience.
Regular, long term work.
Your own consultant Refer a friend scheme (earn up to £125) What we need from you An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
Two recent and professional references Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
