Your work will directly impact their wellbeing, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
You'll deliver, collect, install, repair, and service medical equipment across the county for people with disabilities and those recently discharged from hospital.

You'll be expected to travel across Hampshire to visit service users from your home address.
Your office base will be Hampshire Equipment Services, Basingstoke.
You'll be expected to visit at least once a month following your induction to attend team meetings What you'll do: Carry out inspections, tests, installations, maintenance and repairs safely and to a high standard in service users' homes, schools, residential and nursing homes across Hampshire.
Ensure all equipment meets PUWER/LOLER safety standards.
Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
Efficiently manage and schedule a busy workload.
Handle heavy objects such as bed parts, pressure-relief equipment, hoists, chairs, and bath lifts.
Drive a Council vehicle.
What we're looking for: A current, full UK driving licence.
General knowledge of engineering, electrical circuits, fixing methods and fault-finding techniques.

Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
Able to move heavy objects with a good level of fitness.

Working Patterns? The working hours for this position follow a current pattern of Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm, with a 4pm Friday finish.
Our Service runs 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, therefore you'll be required to participate in the on-call out of hours, weekend and bank holiday rota, working a rotational 1:12 basis, for which enhancements are paid.
