Logistics Support Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for  a Logistic Support Manager  to join our Supply Chain department in  Thetford This posts are working Monday to Friday The hours of work and shift patterns are: 0800 - 1600 The rate of pay is:  £19.70ph Main Responsibilities: Claims Management.
Including rejections investigations and claiming where a 3rd party is at fault, claims against companies that damage 2sfg property.
Managing the entire lifecycle of claims within the supply chain, from initial investigations to the resolution and settlement of claims.
Primary focus will be on investigating and processing claims where third parties are at fault, as well as managing claims related to damages caused to company property.
Handle the investigations and claims submission and chase other parties to get the resolution pushed through, in some exceptions handle investigations/claims caused by external companies to other areas of the site.
Key responsibilities include Claims Investigation & Documentation Rejection Claims Management POD management.
Order Matching Stock Reconciliation Stock investigations.
Inventory Discrepancy Analysis Root Cause Identification Stock Reconciliation Stock Investigation Reporting Corrective Action & Process Improvement Escalation & Reporting to Management New product set ups at 3rd party logistical partners.
Sending forecasts provided by Planning to 3rd party logistical partners.
Ad hoc transport arrangements that planning/logistics need or the site needs.
Taking a pro-active, constructive approach in looking after equipment.
Daily pre-start walk-arounds and checks on equipment condition.
Achieve KPI targets set by Department manager.
Maintain policies in the department to meet customer demands.
Ideal Candidate: English level – pre-Advanced (verbal and written) Good communication skills SAP Knowledge (advanced) Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Microsoft Teams knowledge.
Ability to adapt and evolve with business objectives Warehouse Management and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Experience Good math knowledge Ability to make decisions.
