About The Role We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Wholesale Logistics Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
As a Logistics Manager you'll be accountable for the wholesale plan with a heavy focus on the end to end service to the wholesale sites and convenience picking centres.
This is a field based role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to define, develop and deliver the plan in line with current Commercial agreements.
Some of your responsibilities include: To ensure there are ongoing reviews of the wholesale activity to make sure we have an ever improving flow of goods to our wholesale stores, managing stakeholder requirements and highlighting risks and issues for escalation.
You'll maintain a strong focus on making things simpler for our colleagues and better for our customers.
You'll be accountable for the design, development and implementation of end to end processes from multi site morrisons supply through to convenience picking centres and our Morrison's Daily stores ensuring a smooth flow of products are always available in a timely manner.
To provide innovative and improve ways of working to speed up and simplify the work of the CPC to improve the Wholesale customer experience.
You will use Performance metrics to influence the supply stream to improve the flow of goods to wholesale customers.
There will be two areas you'll focus on: Warehouse Operations All Warehouse Operations - Swan 2, Bury, Allington, Livingston, Bridgwater, Xdoc Operations Performance KPIs (CPAH), People KPIs, Service (Pick out on time) and Quality (Process, Stock) KPI management, Safety.
Now inclusive of Channel Islands - Ferry Speed (sandpiper) GXO - Brighouse + Gelhard road, Leeds Store Service:- accuracy, damages, pick outs on time (rotas), inbound suppliers managment Costs: Warehouse CPAH, Warehouse Indirects, All activity rates Capacity - Headcounts, Planning, Rotas Future Strategy design and Cost Reduction plans Project implementation linked to project manager role below Systems Optimised/Improved - WMS Transport Operations Performance KPIs (CPDH/VanFill/Lead in/out), People KPIs, Service (DOD/DOT) KPI management All store radial and trunking deliveries - Lowest cost to operate and best service - 2000 locations and growing.

Execution of RDC and CPC optimisation - Deliveries combined, Optimised Service to stores DOT, DOD, Retracks, Claims, thefts, temp control Costs - Fleet Strategy, Fleet build and costs, VOR management, VMU, Maintenance, Drivers, Rotas, Driver Directs/Indirects, Vehicle Fill, Cages per drops, shift splits on wage rates, fuel use, fuel economy…..
