Logistics Manager

Logistics Manager Bridport £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Permanent ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the warehouse and distribution.
The Role: Manage, develop, and lead a team of HGV drivers and drivers' mates to ensure standard continues to be delivered Define and implement standards and support the team through training Plan daily transport routes and staffing, delivering great customer service as well as maximising operational and commercial efficiency Deliver improvements from idea to implementation with effective project management Ensure timely resolution of any issues arising in areas such as health and safety and people management Foster a culture of safety by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or unsafe behaviours, ensuring a secure workplace for all Requirements: Proven experience in logistics management, including managing a team and a fleet Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Full UK drivers licence and forklift licence (training can be organised) Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills Ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Strong analytical skills in relation to logistics planning This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
