The Role To support the delivery of Aspire's growth aspirations by managing the Global Logistics function.
Optimising and implementing new global logistics processes, including cost improvements, compliance and the selection of service providers across the freight forwarding and 3PL/4PL network to ensure we continue to have a robust supply chain.
Key Responsibilities?
Define and evolve the group's future global logistics strategy across multiple UK and EU sites and external partners.
Management of all departmental logistics ensuring prompt delivery and optimum cost and efficiency.
Management & Co-ordination of stock control, receipt, and reconciliation activities across multiple warehouse locations.
Identify & implement logistic cost & process optimisation to ensure continuous improvements whilst remaining full compliance with all necessary regulations.
Management of the Logistics/W&D budget and KPI reporting for all logistics and inventory activities, ensuring we remain within approved guidelines and identify areas for escalation, cost optimisation and improvement.
Contract Management of third-party logistics & warehouse providers.
Leading BRM meetings and ensuring actions are followed through and closed off in a timely manner.
Due diligence & integration support for new acquisitions and company projects.
