Logistics Contract Manager

Are you an experienced contract manager looking for a new role in Logistics Monday to Friday You would be responsible for managing the organisation's daily operational functions.
That involves planning and implementing operational processes to improve quality, productivity, cost control and performance.
The Contract Manager is to oversee all EPOCH operational activities at every level of the EPOCH Swindon organization including both customer service, warehouse functions encompassing H&S.
Responsible for strategizing process improvements alongside the QAD Manager to ensure everyone completes their tasks on schedule and within the boundaries of the QMS.
The Contract Manager shall also work alongside the Senior Branch Manager in ensuring operational costs are kept within the boundaries of the EPOCH contract whilst ensuring effective budget and cost control.
Has an excellent knowledge of the industry and standards and keeps up to date with external changes that may affect the department/depot and implements changes where necessary Relevant skills and experience required; Education College/University level Job Experience At least 2 years experience in the same or equivalent position.
Requirements Up to date knowledge of H&S regulations within a logistics environment.
Experience of leading operations in a logistics environment.
Familiarity in budget setting and therefore operational cost control Understanding of business management principles Exceptional communicator capable of engaging at all levels of the business.
Exceptional customer focused and driven.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management system Proficiency in MS office applications with a particular focus on Excel skills Ability to analyse complex data, reporting methods and KPI measures Employment condition Our client is looking for a manager with the following competences; Analytical skills Good communicative skills Result-oriented and involved.
