  About the Team: The supply chain team is at the heart of our business, ensuring that every step of the production and distribution process runs smoothly.  Focusing on the delivery of the finished product to customers, the team ensures that operations are efficient, cost-effective, and of the highest quality.
They work across departments, suppliers, and distribution networks to meet demand, control costs, and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
   About the Role: As a Logistics Assistant at CurrentBody, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain and logistics operations.
You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of products from our suppliers to our warehouse and from our warehouse to our customers.
  · Arrange transportation with freight forwarders to collect goods from suppliers and deliver them to our warehouses, and prepare basic customs documentation, such as commercial invoices.
· Monitor and report on the inbound schedule of our warehouses in the UK and internationally.
· Assist the warehouse team in receiving and verifying stock from suppliers, investigate discrepancies, shortages, damages, and overages.
· Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of stock.
· Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payment to suppliers and freight forwarders.
· Maintain up-to-date Excel trackers and reports on the status of shipments, and communicate any delays to the relevant departments.
    Candidate Requirements:   ·      A degree level qualification or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Business Management.
·      Must possess strong analytical skills.
·      Attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
·      Excellent organisational and time management abilities are required.
·      Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
·      Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems, is preferred ·      Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs documentation will be advantageous.
·      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
