As we enter a new phase of growth, we are looking for a Logistics Administrator to coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers or end-users, oversee transportation, inventory management, and administrative tasks, providing essential support.
Key Responsibilities: Order Management: Process orders, track shipments, and ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory records, and collaborate with 3PL & Purchasing team to maintain optimal supply levels.
Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate with 3PL and Vendors to track deliveries, resolving delays or discrepancies.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documents, processes to ensure smooth operational performance.
Communication: Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve logistics-related inquiries and maintain strong relationships.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standard and company policies.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues related to damaged goods, shipment delays, or inventory inaccuracies.
Optimization: Recommend process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Essential requirements: Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or administrative roles.
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Sage, or similar platforms – not essential) and MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or administrative roles.
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Sage, or similar platforms) and MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Familiarity with import/export regulations (if applicable).

Technical proficiency in logistics tools and systems Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience which will be reviewed following a successful probationary period.
