Locum Veterinary Surgeon

As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering excellent veterinary care in a dynamic and welcoming practice.
You will handle a mix of operations and consultations, with opportunities to work both collaboratively with the team and independently during sole charge shifts.
Employment Type : Locum (January 2025 Ongoing) Key Responsibilities : Perform routine surgeries and medical procedures.
Carry out consultations, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions.
Work independently during sole charge shifts (two afternoons a week).
Maintain clear and detailed patient records.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide advice on pet health and well-being.
Working Hours : 4 days a week.
Shifts: 9am - 6:30pm.
No out-of-hours (OOH), no Sundays, and no bank holidays.
Requirements : MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
Experience in handling both consultations and surgeries.
Confidence in working independently during sole charge shifts.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
