Locum Veterinary Surgeon

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Radlett.

Location : Radlett, Hertfordshire Start Date : December 2024 Duration : Ongoing Shifts : Full-time, Monday Friday (4-5 days per week) Key Responsibilities: Conduct consultations and examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose conditions.
Perform a variety of surgical procedures and treatments.
Provide emergency care and stabilize critical patients as needed.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other veterinary professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
Educate pet owners on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care.
Uphold the highest standards of veterinary care and practice within the facility.
Requirements: Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a valid veterinary license.
Previous experience in a veterinary practice is essential.
Strong surgical skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
Flexibility to work full-time shifts, with the option of 4-5 days per week.
