Locum Veterinary Surgeon

Role Overview: We are seeking a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Blackburn from 11th November 2024 to 3rd February 2025.
This role offers a 4-day work week with shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Accommodation is available for those needing it, making this an excellent opportunity for locum vets from outside the area.
Location: Blackburn Start Date: 11th November 2024 End Date: 3rd February 2025 Work Schedule: 4 days per week Shifts: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Accommodation: Available Key Responsibilities: Perform consultations, diagnoses, and treatments for a wide range of small animal cases.
Carry out routine and emergency surgeries as required.
Provide excellent communication and compassionate care to clients and their pets.
Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
Experience in both small animal medicine and surgery.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
