Locum Vet Surgeon - Southampton

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Locum Vet Surgeon to join our team in Southampton.
This role offers an immediate start with a flexible work schedule of two days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays).
The position is ongoing, providing a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive veterinary practice.
Location: Southampton Start Date: Immediate Work Schedule: 2 days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays) Duration: Ongoing Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality veterinary care to a range of animals, ensuring the highest standards of treatment.
Conduct consultations, diagnostics, surgeries, and procedures.
Manage a caseload and deliver care with a focus on animal welfare.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining treatment plans and recommendations.
Work collaboratively with the practice team to provide excellent service.
Adhere to veterinary guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements: RCVS registered Vet Surgeon.
Proven experience in veterinary practice, with excellent surgical and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to empathize with pet owners.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
