Locum Vet Surgeon

We are looking for a dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal practice in Blackburn, Lancashire , for a temporary period from 18th November 2024 to 24th January 2025 .
This role requires working three days per week, providing general consultations, performing routine surgeries, and delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Location : Blackburn, Lancashire Contract : Temporary (18/11/2024 to 24/01/2025) Working Hours : 3 days per week Shift Times : 09:00 - 18:00 Key Responsibilities Perform consultations, diagnostics, and treatments for small animals.
Carry out routine surgeries and monitor post-operative care.
Provide clear and supportive communication to clients regarding their pets' health and treatment options.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain excellent standards of care.
Keep accurate and detailed medical records.
Requirements MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
