The Kent Interventional Radiology Centre, a purpose-built unit at the Kent and Canterbury site, fitted with the latest Siemens Artis Pheno angiography system with robotic assistance, full anaesthetic facilities and a dedicated 6-bedded Day Case Unit opened in May 2022.
The unit supports the regional reconfiguration of Vascular services.
This post requires the applicant to possess experience in both Mechanical Thrombectomy for acute Stroke as well as specialised training in Vascular and Non-Vascular Radiology, including EVAR and peripheral intervention.
There is a thriving practice in non-oncological embolotherapy including uterine artery embolization, prostate artery embolization, varicocele embolization and treatment of pelvic congestion.
