Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Rheumatologist to join a hospital that provides a wide range of benefits to their staff.
The post holder will work alongside three Consultant colleagues and will have the choice of working between two different sites.
The Trust delivers an outstanding service to their patients using a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach.
They are offering general rheumatology services as well as specialist services for people with osteoporosis, connective tissue diseases and vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis and pediatric and adolescent clinics.
The department is supported by a full orthopaedic service, including spinal surgery and full radiology facilities.
The successful post holder will be expected to support the management of Early Arthritis clinics, Biologics Clinics and reviewing in-patient referrals.
You will be expected to participate in research and audit.
You will also be expected to provide leadership and development to the existing Rheumatology service and to engage in Education and Training.
Ideally, the post holder will have an interest in General Medicine as there will be opportunities to take part in the on-call rota in the future with additional PA to accommodate this.

For candidates who reside abroad, you must have completed the necessary language test (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying.
