Main duties of the job · Ensure effective nursing assessment and provision of a high standard of care within the community specialist learning disability service.· Act as a positive clinical lead and role model within the community specialist learning disability service.· Set and monitor care standards for the community nursing team to help support the provision of high-quality care.· Facilitate others in the team to develop competence by providing leadership, day to day supervision, clinical advice and clinical supervision.· Advocate for and promote a positive image of people with a learning disability.
· Provide advice on reasonable adjustments to primary and secondary healthcare services.
