The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) are looking to recruit a Locum Consultant Geriatrician to join our existing Department for Medicine of the Elderly (DME) team as we look to build on our recent expansion and successes - part-time applications will be considered to enable us to get up to our required establishment.
The DME at UHDB has developed and expanded considerably over the past 5 years. At the Royal Derby Hospital site, there are 16 Consultants and 4 Acute Inpatient Geriatric Wards, and at Queen's Hospital, Burton, we have 3 Consultants and 2 Acute Inpatient Geriatric Wards.
