Locum Clinical/Counselling Psychologist (CAMHS - Band 8a) Location: Birmingham Role: Locum Clinical or Counselling Psychologist - CAMHS Hours: Flexible, 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week Rate: £40 - £45 per hour Start Date: ASAP We are looking for a dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in a hospital setting within the Birmingham area.
This locum role presents an exciting opportunity to support children, adolescents, and their families, while also contributing to service transformation and development.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments, formulations, and provide evidence-based interventions for young people and their families Engage in service development and transformation to enhance CAMHS care provision Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered support for young people Promote emotional and psychological well-being through tailored, evidence-based therapies Requirements: HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with CAMHS or NHS experience Band 8a level experience or equivalent If you are passionate about improving young lives and ready to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team, we encourage you to apply!
