Person Specification Experience Essential Minimum of 5 years in a strategic security role within a large, multi-site mental health NHS organisation.
Proven track record of leading security strategy development and execution.
Extensive experience in stakeholder management and collaboration with law enforcement and external agencies.
Expertise in security risk management, including strategic oversight of complex security projects and initiatives.
CCTV Management - Advanced understanding of operations.
Training and Policy Development - Experience in training groups, developing, and reviewing security policies and procedure.
Specialised Security Risk Management - Experience in challenging environments, particularly in mental health.
Emergency Preparedness - Experience in planning and responding to emergencies, ensuring business continuity and incident response.
Desirable Good communication/collaboration skills.
Property and People Protection - Extensive experience in safeguarding property and individuals.
Audit and Inspection - Conducting audits and formulating action plans independently.
People Management - Effective leadership in managing staff.
Complex Data Analysis - Proficiency in analysing data to drive operational change.
Qualifications Essential NHS Protect Accredited Local Security Management Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of strategic security management experience.
Degree-level education or equivalent, with significant experience in acute mental health or learning disability services.
