Join us on our journey\nand you will too.\n\nDay to day, youll:\n\n * You'll lead the architectural design of infrastructure platform technologies and products across our ecosystem.\n\n * You'll be hands-on, working on building and maintaining our hybrid products and services in your specialist area\n\n * Youll lead technical conversations with stakeholders of varying levels of technical background, including Senior Management and other Subject Matter Experts\n\n * Be a great collaborator across internal, external, and 3rd party teams\n\n * Drive best-in-class approaches to automation and security\n\n * Have the ability to provide education and mentorship covering infrastructure engineering topics to support different teams on those topics, and drive upskilling\n\n * Are an SME in a particular aspect of infrastructure engineering, bringing your skills to our specialist teams whilst working to expand your knowledge across the hybrid cloud platform\n\nWhat you'll need\n\nProven experience as an infrastructure Engineer working in a hybrid cloud\nenvironment specialising in one or more of the following technologies:\n\n * VMware (including NSX and VMware ARIA suite)\n\n * Storage & Backup (SAN, NAS, vSAN)\n\n * Databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)\n\n * Operating Systems (Windows & Linux)\n\n * Networking (DHCP WINS DNS)\n\n * Middleware (MQ, WAS)\n\n * Automation Tooling (Chef Terraform)\n\nYou will be able to demonstrate a familiarity and working experience of:\n\n * Supporting & managing enterprise infrastructure systems\n\n * Agile ways of working\n\n * Cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud\n\n * Designing or contributing to solutions for a Hybrid Cloud Environment\n\n * Backup Restore and Disaster recovery processes\n\n * Defect Management\n\n * Performance Optimisation\n\n * Technical fault-finding Level 3 & 4\n\n * Security best practises and compliance standards\n\n * Mentoring Colleagues and supporting technical development of other\n\n * Service design and associated methodologies\n\n * Problem solving and communication skills\n\nAny experience of these would be really useful\n\n * VMware Certified Professional (VCP)\n\n * Microsoft Certified: Azure VMware Solution (AVS) Specialist\n\nAbout working for us\n\nOur focus is to ensure were inclusive every day, building an organisation\nthat reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
