Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Hours: 5 days a week within school hours, with additional team meetings after school on set days Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 Per annum Qualifications: PGCE, QTS, DFE Skills: Key Stage 1, Phonics, Primary Curriculum Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Key Stage 1 lessons Implement the Primary Curriculum effectively Utilise Phonics, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience Required Qualifications: PGCE qualification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Department for Education (DFE) recognition Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 1 students Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum Effective classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Phonics instruction Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School Working Conditions: Temporary position with the possibility of extension Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Located in Central Peterborough Collaborative and supportive school environment What Teaching Personnel offer As a valued employee of Teaching Personnel, you will receive: Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
