Working as a Live In Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help keep them independent in their own home.You will live with them, supporting them to meet all their daily needs whilst ensuring their safety and promoting their dignity.Responsibilities include:Assisting with personal care needs Prompting & administering medicationMeal & food preparation including cooking.Safe moving and handlingSocial outings, shopping trips and attending appointments.Providing companionshipLight household duties such as cleaning & laundryEncouraging independence where possible Actively engage with clients in meaningful activities, conversations, and social interactions, promoting mental and emotional well-being.Effective communication skills both written and verbal English.Minimum 12 months experience in a paid Care setting.

QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 12 months previous experience within a care setting.Empathy: A compassionate and sincere approach, with a deep desire to make a positive difference in others' lives.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with clients and their families.Patience: The capacity to manage challenging situations with composure and empathy, offering consistent support and reassurance.Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the changing needs of clients and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Driving: A Full UK valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Additional InformationAs a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with three meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.
