Job DescriptionAs a Live In carer you have the unique privilege of being accepted into someone's home and been able to provide one to one personalised care to your client.We are looking for a Live-in Care Assistant to support a female client of ours living at home with dementia.
Location: Picturesque village on the outskirts of Pocklington, 14.5 miles from the city of York.Shift Pattern: 2 weeks on/2 weeks offSalary: £840 per working weekThe Role: To provide practical assistance and emotional support to a client living with dementia.
The client is physically able to do many tasks for herself, but requires prompting to do so.With encouragement the client enjoys going out for walks, visiting the local café, baking and helping out with household chores.
The role will also require the care professional to:Support the client to keep the house clean and tidy.
Our client is very house proud so she will need help keeping her house a 'home'.
Prepare and enjoy meals with the client.
Our client enjoys rolling her sleeves up and offering a helping hand in the kitchen, allowing for some great baking together.
Support the client with all aspects of personal care, ensuring she takes her medication.
