About the role Are you a dynamic and creative Literature Tutor?
Then join us to teach courses, online and/or face to face, helping to bring together people across the capital and beyond and to enrich lives through learning.
You'll be a key contributor to our thriving Literature department, which offers a wide-ranging and dynamic curriculum.
We are looking for tutors who are able to teach across the following curriculum areas: Black British and /or American Literature (Fiction, Poetry and /or Drama) Global Literatures in English 21 st Century Literatures (Fiction, Poetry and/or Drama) Poetry Literary Non-Fiction (e.g.
literary Life-writing, essays) About the applicant City Lit is London's largest provider of learning for adults, inspiring over 30,000 students a year and offering more than 5,000 courses, online and face-to-face.

The ideal candidate will have: A qualification relevant to the subject being taught (degree and/or postgraduate qualification).
Experience of teaching Literature, ideally to groups of adults.
Ability to plan and deliver imaginative and engaging Literature courses, face-to-face and/or online, in collaboration with the Tutor Coordinator, understanding the interests and learning needs of the student cohort.
Excellent communication skills.
Have a commitment to Quality, Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, customer care and safeguarding.
