Literacy Mentor | About the role: A Literacy Mentor will support disadvantaged children, children with SEND, and high-achieving children to help push them to break academic barriers.
Work alongside the EYFS and KS1 Teachers and the SEND team to provide adequate support for each of the students.
Utilise everything you learned at university, and adapt your skills to improve children's English and Literacy skills.
Option for schools direct teacher training after a year perfect for Literacy Mentors looking to get into teaching!
Literacy Mentor | What we're looking for: First-class graduates from a Top UK University with a degree in English, Linguistics, Education or Modern Languages.
An individual with a passion for working with vulnerable and disadvantaged children and a kind and caring personality.
Any previous experience in tutoring or teaching.
Anyone with an interest in Linguistics, a Career as a Primary School Teacher or even Speech and Language.
