You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our Linux-based infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role that will require a deep understanding of Linux systems, automation, and cloud platforms to ensure that our infrastructure is secure, efficient, and scalable.
You will collaborate closely with our quantitative researchers, traders, and software engineers to build a robust platform that supports high-performance computing, low-latency trading, and data-intensive workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Build, configure, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Linux infrastructure for our trading, research, and analytics platforms.
Automation & Orchestration: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of the infrastructure.
Leverage tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to manage configuration and reduce manual overhead.
Monitoring & Optimization: Implement and maintain monitoring systems to track infrastructure performance, ensure availability, and troubleshoot system issues proactively.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks across the stack, from hardware to application level.
Security & Compliance: Ensure that the Linux environment is secure by implementing best practices for patching, access control, encryption, and auditing.
Collaborate with the security team to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Cloud Integration & Hybrid Infrastructure: Design and manage hybrid infrastructure solutions, including on-premise data centers and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, ensuring a seamless and resilient architecture.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with software engineers, quants, and traders to understand platform requirements and provide technical support for high-performance applications.
Provide training and documentation to other team members on Linux-based systems and tools.
