Role Overview: As a Dali Lighting Engineer, you'll step into the forefront of innovation, charged with the responsibility of commissioning, setting up, and overseeing the lighting control scope.

Responsibilities DALI Skills: Skilfully address DALI drivers and inverters using the Tridonic tool.
Extend a DALI network seamlessly.
Identify and rectify duplicate DALI addresses.
Expertly troubleshoot and resolve DALI shorts and open circuits.
Navigate through the intricacies of company sensors.
Other Technical Skills: Apply your expertise in 1-10V and DSI.
Artfully configure IP networks for routers, gateways, and user interfaces.
Set up peripherals like sensors, scene panels, and switch interfaces.
Engage in software configuration, encompassing grouping, scene control, corridor hold, and daylight regulation.
Assure optimal site performance through rigorous system operation verification and client solutions.
Conduct enlightening client training sessions.
Provide sage technical advice to customers/end-users.
Execute routine planned preventive maintenance (PPM) works.
Facilitate seamless coordination and communication with clients.
Offer adept troubleshooting and reactive aftercare assistance.
Implement minor works alterations with finesse.
Conduct additional client training sessions as required.
Engineering Skills: Craft scheme drawings with precision, outlining port details for lamps and sensors.
Showcase your proficiency in IP Networking.
Embark on fault-finding endeavours with a keen eye.
Contribute to network design with your expertise.
Execute Headend installations seamlessly.
Documentation: Articulate your daily experiences through insightful Site Activity Reports (SARs).
Craft daily Perspective snag reports for site attendances.
Compile comprehensive onsite and remote health check reports.
Safeguard project databases through regular backups.
Keep site-specific documentation ever relevant and up to date.
Health & Safety: Uphold your commitment to safety with CSCS accreditation, ensuring an up-to-date appropriate CSCS Card.
Bring your First Aider certification to the table.
Demonstrate awareness of Electrical Safety protocols.
Additional Tasks: Stay abreast of cutting-edge systems and equipment provided by the company.
Exercise your discernment in reviewing systems for optimal product and service combinations.
Offer insightful upgrade and remedial options, advising the Key Account Manager accordingly.
Become the liaison with the office for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issues.
Collaborate seamlessly with Sales/Commissioning Manager/Supervisor for additional days or materials quotations.
Safeguard the wealth of information in project databases through regular backups and archiving.
External Interactions: Build meaningful connections with Clients.
Collaborate effectively with consultants.
Coordinate seamlessly with Electrical Contractors.
Engage with End-users in enlightening conversations.
Liaise effectively with Main Contractors.
Interact seamlessly with Maintenance Contractors.
Must have: Dali lighting experience.
Need to have an ECS/JIB card or CSCS Card.
Should have used lighting controls.
Should have carried out testing.
Must have completed their 18th edition.
Must be prepared to work at least one Saturday per month and overtime when required.
