About the role: We are seeking a vigilant and responsible individual to join our team as a Lifeguard at our leisure centre.
As a lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while they enjoy our aquatic facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Being a team player and understanding the value of teamwork Maintaining a concentrated observation of the pool and pool users, to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all swimmers.
Follow all relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Hygiene, First Aid and Fire Evacuation.
Observing all RLSS requirements Ensuring safety of customers and other team members and security of equipment.
Carry out rescues and initiate emergency action where necessary.
Ensuring paperwork is completed neatly and accurately within specified deadlines.
Report all potential accidents and near misses.
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the pool and associated areas, including toilets and changing areas.
To undertake and organise activities contained within the sports resorts programme or water resorts programme.
Experience / Skills Required: Must hold relevant NPLQ, First Aid and CPR / AED qualifications Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues if necessary Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact / engage with guests of all ages.
