JMC are working with a MRO company based in Birmingham, looking to recruit new B1/B2 Licensed Engineers to join their team.
This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft.
The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.
This is a Permanent Position based in Birmingham, working on a 5/5/4 shift pattern.

Other duties involve: - Removal of major structural sections/Items, whilst stress jacked.
- Working to fine tolerances and high standards.
- Implementing high standards of housekeeping.
- Adhering to company and manufacturers procedures.
- Assist in the Implementation of modifications from drawings and procedures.
- Stage inspections with final inspection and sign off of modifications.
Skills and experience required: In order to be successful in this role the B1/B2 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: - Completed an aircraft engineering apprenticeship - Experience of working on Production or Live aircraft hands on (Structures).
- Hold a B1/B2 Licence with ideally a B737NG type rating - Experience of implementing large modifications.
- The ability to read/interpret manufacturer's drawings and SRMs.
- Able to perform mapping and feedback of any abnormalities to a high standard - Provide daily updates to key stakeholders, written and verbally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Understanding of MS Office applications.
- Must have eligibility to work and live in the UK.
- Ability to obtain a UK security clearance vetting.
