Job overview PLEASE NOTE - THIS VACANCY IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT CPFT AND CCS - HCP STAFFAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthy Child Programme (HCP) - Professional Lead to deliver and lead the education and training needs for all staff working within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough HCP Service.
This role is a one year secondment and will be considered a development role for the right candidate.You will be aligned to the HCP staff in Peterborough, working as part of a team of Professional Leads covering HCP Education within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust work in partnership with Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, delivering excellent care to children, young people and their families.The successful applicant will be based in the Peterborough Locality and needs to be currently employed by CPFT or CCS - Healthy Child Programme.
Main duties of the job You will have a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) degree and a recognised teaching and assessing/mentorship qualification.
You will be able to evidence continuous professional development and extensive community public health experience as a Band or above.
You will have experience of supporting pre-registration and SCPHN students during their training and education.The post holder will provide evidence-based education and leadership to the locality HCP team.
He/she will be able to demonstrate the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate teaching sessions and be confident and competent with formal teaching.
You will ensure the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective training programme for students and staff.
