This is your chance to secure an ongoing role with the opportunity to get a permanent role and become part of a great team!What's in it for you?Ongoing opportunity: work with the potential for ongoing role after a successful induction.Frequent work: available Monday to Friday, with regular start times between 05:00 AM and 08:00 AM.Light workload: Sequencing and trunking on Class 1 vehicles between sites.Competitive pay: £16.00 per hour + holiday entitlement.Free parking: convenient access to the depot.Supportive environment: be part of a team that values and supports its drivers.Valuable experience: delivering goods to various industrial and commercial locations across Birmingham and beyond.Your role as an HGV class 1 driverSequencing working: moving trailers between sites, easy workload.Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.RequirementsA minimum of 12 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.Must have held an HGV class 1 licence for at least 12 months.Good attention to detail: ensuring safe movement of trailers.A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January.Pay & benefits£16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement.Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period.Free parking at the depot.Light delivery schedule with site-to-site sequencing and trunking.10 – 12 hour shifts typicallyOccasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.How to applySubmit your up-to-date CV or call 0121 237 4840 and ask for JON from the driving team.INDBD
