Leveraged Finance Partner

Our client is a leading national firm with a renowned finance practice, acting for major financial institutions, funds, PE and VC investors, and corporate borrower clients.
The Firm has grown substantially across this sector in all of its offices over the last 5 years, and now ranks alongside major international firms in terms of both its client list and the profile of its deals.
Growth at partner level in Leveraged Finance is now a high priority for the Firm, providing the right individual with an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the further development of this offering in London.
The successful applicant will be: Either an existing partner with a strong client network and experience of leadership in their current role, or a partner-level candidate seeking to take their first step into a partner position.
Experienced in sponsor-led buyouts, corporate acquisitions, investment grade financings, and bid financings.
Be able to demonstrate a track record of acting for a range of clients, ideally with some experience in acting for alternative lenders.
Show a clear record of success in business development, both through maximising instructions from an internal client base, and in winning new work from new clients.
The Firm has a solid platform that will help to support an incoming individual and their practice, with good levels of associate resource and directory-ranked colleagues across the full spectrum of Banking & Finance work to support in other areas.
