We're a small, exciting company and the goal of our games is to unlock people's imagination and help them express themselves in wonderful, fun ways.
Right now we're busy building a new multiplayer cooperative game with an ambitious creative wrapper around it.
We can't say too much, but if you can imagine Jim Henson's Labyrinth mashed up with Wrestlemania, then you'll be on the right track!
We've got big hearts and big ideas, and this is an opportunity for Junior to Mid-Level Level Designers to play a pivotal role in our design team.
Reporting to Lead Level Designer, Peter Burns.
You'll be working closely with him and our level design team to help build the levels for our exciting UGC game.
Requirements From day one we would like you to... Work with the team, both in-office and remote, to brainstorm and develop ideas for the game's levels and puzzles.
Begin building levels using our in-game tools Give feedback and ideas on how we can improve and expand our creative toolset.
The ideal candidate would… Have experience building levels for at least one published game or alternatively have experience building great content in other UGC games like Little Big Planet, Dreams, Roblox that you can show off and demonstrate.
Be able to demonstrate good lateral thinking for creating puzzles and implementing them successfully in the game.
Bring an enthusiastic attitude, a heap of creativity, and a love of sharing those things with a team of like-minded people A few more bits...
This role is a 1 year position with an opportunity for you to make a significant contribution not only to the game but to our team and the company.
