Are you experienced in providing 1:1 and Small Group support to primary age pupils within a classroom environment?
We are looking for a passionate and committed, level 3 member of staff to take on a full-time, 1:1 SEMH support role in a Primary School located in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
The position itself is full-time, starting after may half term.
Interviews are taking place ASAP for the role as it is imperative that the right candidate is found for the post.
The position has the opportunity of being extended further than a single term depending on the pupil's progression during their time in mainstream education, therefore your involvement and input is essential.
What we need from you: Prior experience supporting pupil with EHCP's such as: ASC, MLD, SEMH, HI or VI.
A 'can do' approach to any given situation or challenge The ability to offer 1:1 support Exceptional communication and behavioural management skills The ability to assess and track progress of pupils Your role will be vital in the learning development of the pupil you are supporting, and you will therefore be expected to regularly provide feedback on the child's progression and performance in class to the teacher.
