Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Bookmark Education are working with a Primary School in the Blackley area of Manchester who are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with them on an ongoing basis.  The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering an exciting and engaging curriculum to students, assisting with classroom management, and ensuring all pupils can access leanring opportunities.
You will be working with their Reception class, helping with lesson preparation, ensuring the classroom activities are set out, supporting pupils in groups with different activities, ensuring pupils feel safe and listened to at school  This role is to start January 2025 (or sooner if the right candidate is available), and is 5 days a week on a rolling basis.  This is to supplement the current support in place within the EYFS department, as the class has a high level of different needs  Key Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning) or equivalent  Recent experience in a primary school setting or a Nursery setting with pre-school age Proactive approach and a genuine passion for ensuring pupil development at this early stage The ability to engage with pupils aged 4-5 to ensure they enjoy school, are settled and feel safe and valued  To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK and have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
