Legionella Risk Assessor required in Leeds/West Yorkshire to carry out risk assessments to identify any risks in the water system.
The role is to understand the water systems and any associated equipment in order to conclude whether the system is likely to create a risk from expose to Legionella.
The Assessor will adhere to the professional code of conduct when entering client's premises as described in MQP112/ MQF3053 and uphold the good reputation of the company at all times.
The Assessor will further check and inspect equipment used on the daily basis, prior to each job and report any problems to the Legionella Service Manager.

Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients.
The role will involve working in a multi-site capacity.
The site surveys will be undertaken using a hand-held device.
Carry out legionella compliance tasks in accordance with ACoP-L8 and HSG274.
Ensuring all data is correctly presented, meaning surveyors paperwork and photographs are checked prior to entry.
There is a requirement for some travel, which may involve working away from home.
An accommodation and food allowance will be paid for by the company.
Report any problems with the data to the Project Manager.
Report any problems with the software to the CEO.
To achieve personal appraisal targets, as agreed by the line manager.
To carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the companies Health and Safety Policy and relevant Health and Safety legislation.
At all times to carry out responsibilities/duties within the framework Legionella Risk Assessor Criteria: The ideal candidate will need a qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent) and experience in Legionella risk assessing.
A wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines as well as sufficient experience in working in the water treatment industry and a strong knowledge of health and safety.
You'll be commercially aware and have good planning skills, Strong IT literacy, the ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity and be able draw schematic diagrams.
Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software.
Extensive knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
