Job Summary We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Legal Administrator .
In this role, you will provide crucial support to our M&A legal team, helping to manage their workload and ensure smooth operations.
You will also assist with various administrative tasks, including tracking data and liaising with clients.

Responsibilities Assist the M&A legal team by managing their administrative workload and providing general administrative support.
Prioritise team tasks according to client needs.
Keep the team's internal ticketing system, managed via Trello, up-to-date.
Identify and flag issues with workload distribution to senior management.
Track certain data and manage deal codes, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up with clients to obtain missing information.
Act as a point of contact for colleagues, ensuring effective communication and timely responses.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Organise and maintain documentation and correspondence as necessary, ensuring information is accurately filed and easily accessible.
Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a legal administrative team, legal secretary, law firm or project management role is required.
Proven organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with diverse stakeholders.
Experience working in a legal or private equity environment (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with legal terminology and basic understanding of legal processes (preferred but not required).
Experience with online ticketing software - e.g., Jira, Trello (preferred but not required).
Work Environment This is a full-time role with a competitive salary.
Contracted working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.
During the training period, the role requires working in the office 4 days a week to ensure maximum learning and engagement with the team.
After training, the role may shift to a hybrid model.
Strong preference will be given to Manchester-based candidates or candidates willing to relocate.
