Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their esteemed law firm.
Position Overview: As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in assisting fee earners.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters.
Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, managing case files, coordinating with clients, and providing general administrative support to the legal team.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough legal research and analyse case precedents, statutes, regulations, and other legal sources.
Prepare and draft legal documents.
Organise and manage case files.
Maintain effective communication with clients.
Coordinate and schedule meetings.
Track deadlines and maintain the case calendar to ensure timely filing of motions, responses, and other legal documents.
Provide administrative support, such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining attorney schedules.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in law is preferred.
Prior experience working as a Legal Secretary in Conveyancing is essential.
Sound knowledge of legal concepts, procedures, and terminology.
Proficiency in conducting legal research using online databases and resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
