Legal Counsel

A leading global shipping and logistics business are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team.
The successful candidate will join a hard working and high performing team and contribute to overall business goals.
About the Role Provide commercially sound legal advice to the business, customers and suppliers.
Assist in negotiating new contracts with customers and/or suppliers.
Ensure compliance with Corporate Governance policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable law.
Interpret and advise on contract disputes and offer effective strategies for dispute resolution.
Provide timely and accurate legal advice to the business on a wide range of matters to reduce legal and/or commercial risk.
Experience with commercial, customer, procurement and IT contracts.
Experience within the logistics sector is ideal.
