Legal Cashier

LEGAL CASHIER – HALIFAX, WEST YORKSHIRE My clients are looking for a legal cashier to join their growing firm.To undertake all accounting and bookkeeping duties within the firm.
Salary: £25-27K (DOE) Responsible to: Finance Manager Key Tasks Daily Bank reconciliations.Payments by CHAPS/BACS/ Foreign Payments.Ensuring correct allocation of Client funds.Banking.Billing.Dealing with clients both in person and by telephone.Dealing with internal enquiries.Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.Contributing to maintaining and improving office procedures.Any other duties, which from time to time are required by the firm.
Person specification Essential Skills: Literate and numerate- maintaining a high level of accuracy, ability to work as part of a team and maintain professional relationships.Knowledge: Knowledge of the Solicitors accounts rules, knowledge of Legal Accounts software.Experience: Experience as a cashier in a solicitor's office.
Desirable: Knowledge: A recognised solicitor's accounts qualification.Experience: A good level of computer literacy, especially with MS Word and Excel.
