Legal Cashier (Bridgend, Maesteg, Port Talbot)

Brook Street are working with a highly reputable law firm based in Port Talbot, Bridgend and Maesteg.
We are looking to appoint a qualified legal cashier to work at any branch.
The role is Monday to Friday, 9 - 5 and offers Hybrid working once fully settled in.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the same role at a different firm.
Responsibilities Maintaining accurate financial records in line with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
Processing transactions, including client and office money payments, bank transfers, and cheques.
Preparing and issuing client bills and following up on overdue payments.
Monitoring and managing client account balances to ensure compliance with SRA rules.
Checking and processing property completion packs.
Reconciling bank statements and addressing discrepancies.
Supporting solicitors and administrative staff with financial queries and assisting with audits.
Producing weekly and monthly financial reports.
Managing petty cash transactions.
Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Requirements Essential : Experience working as a Legal Cashier.
Essential : Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in legal accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite.
