Legal Assistant - Post-Completions

Salary up to £28,000Support with training and career developmentUK200-listed commercial firmWe're working with a highly-regarded law firm who are looking for a Post-Completions Legal Assistant to work in the property team.
Based in their office in Manchester, you'll be preparing and submitting land registry applications and dealing with a variety of Land Registry queries on behalf of fee earners.
This role is perfect for a candidate with some experience in residential or commercial post completions.Responsibilities include:Preparing and submitting land registry applications including transfers, leases, charges, CN1s.Registering and satisfying charges and debentures at Companies' House.Raising and dealing with a variety of different queries with Land Registry on behalf of fee earners.Entering and updating the electronic Post-Completion checklist.Drafting a variety of SDLT/LTT Returns.Calculating the SDLT/LTT payable for each transaction and arranging payments to HMRC/WRA of any SDLT/LTT due.What we need from you:Flexible and able to manage quick changes to process with good planning skills.Some relevant experience with commercial and/or residential property post completions.Excellent communication skills and remain professional and credible.The Perks:Up to £28,000 DOE.Support with training and career development.Discounted wills and conveyancing services.Health & wellbeing benefits.If you're interested, then hit that apply button or reach out to Jack Lloyd.
