Job summary **Please note this advert will close early once sufficient applications have been received** Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust are excited to invite applications for a 6 month LED fixed term post in General Medicine.
The post will suit a motivated doctor who would like to develop their knowledge and experience in the field of General Medicine.
When working clinically the post holder will work in general medicine at FY2+ level, as a member of a ward-based team at Harrogate District Hospital.
Candidates will have the opportunity to discuss any particular interests at the interview stage and will also be supported to gain exposure in their area of clinical interest.
Main duties of the job Clinically you will work at FY2-ST2 level (dependant on experience).
To provide appropriate clinical care to acute patients with consultant support, by working on the General medicine on call rota.

As a key member of a clinical team, post holders will be expected to maintain a high professional standard and actively participate in matters concerning patient safety and Clinical Governance.
This is a full-time position but candidates wishing to work part-time or in a job-share are encouraged to apply.
If a part-time or job-share person is appointed modification of the job content will be discussed with the appointee on a personal basis.
They will be required to devote substantially the whole of his/her time for the appointed sessions to the duties of the post and to give them priority at these times.
